RECORDING PHONE CALLS
To equalize the effect of laws in Indiana and Illinois, any person contacting me by phone will be considered as having consented to the conversation being recorded. Recorded conversations protect all sides in any dispute. Recording conversations makes such conversations equivalent to emails, which are automatically "recorded." Also, as a matter of policy, textual communications are superior to voice communications as a matter of accommodating hearing impairments. Also as a matter of policy, it is important for there to be a record of any communications to protect my legal clients' rights. I consider this an ethical matter and not optional.
